Lauren Anbe

Lauren Anbe supports the Executive Vice President and Provost and serves as the primary point person in managing the Provost’s calendar, coordinating travel and select events, ensuring seamless office operations, and resolving inquiries on behalf of the Provost.

Lauren came to LMU from UC Irvine, where she served international students first in Summer Session, and then in the Division of Continuing Education ESL/TEFL Programs. In these roles, she was responsible for the planning and administration of ESL programs, as well as managing applications and student records and assisting with international partner outreach.

Prior to UCI, Lauren spent five years teaching English in Japan, first to high school students in the countryside of Fukuoka, and then to college students at the private, all-girls’ institution Shirayuri College in Tokyo. During her time abroad, she enjoyed traveling across Asia and hopes to visit Japan again very soon.
